About

Welcome to ThinkPractice. I’m Tim De Jong, and since childhood, I’ve been deeply fascinated by technology. I see it as a fantastic medium to help people. I started programming at an early age—initially just to create my own games—but over time, I felt an increasing desire to contribute to society through my work.

My professional journey began with a PhD in educational technology. I researched how to support learners using mobile phones, and it was during this time that my love for Apple products was born. I recognized the creativity, attention to detail, and perfectionism that make these products some of the best in the world. I also saw the opportunities that this new technology offered.

This became especially clear in my next job, where I used technology to help people. An app for pain monitoring and a simulator for heart surgery remain to this day the projects that have given me the most satisfaction. At ThinkPractice, I continue to pursue that same mission: using smart, human-centered technology to make a real difference in people’s lives. Alongside this, I find great value in teaching—sharing knowledge, guiding others, and learning through interaction are essential parts of my work. If you’re curious about what I do or would like to collaborate, feel free to get in touch—I’d love to hear from you.
